Job Description
Senior Data Analyst building data products and pipelines for YipitData, a market research and analytics firm. Analyzing alternative data to deliver insights for investment funds and corporations.
Responsibilities:
- Own high-impact work, including building or running new data products end-to-end
- Run centralized data ingestion pipelines used by the broader Data team
- Build clean, granular data feeds for clients
- Analyze massive amounts of data to answer clients’ key questions
- Apply proprietary methods to ensure data accuracy and derive insights
- Serve as a trusted resource for internal stakeholders and clients
- Contribute to data feeds, custom analysis, and data reports for investors
- Improve products, data pipelines, and data feeds through new methodologies and features
- Explore and scale third-party datasets across the Data team
- Create modules to improve the raw feeds data experience
- Complete a two-month new hire training program covering SQL, PySpark, Python fundamentals, internal tools, and processes
