Job Description
Senior Data Analyst driving Agile metrics, SQL reporting, and dashboards for VSolvit’s 100TB cloud transition. Supporting migration leadership, FIAR compliance, and 24/7 operations readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary reporting and metrics engine for the 100TB cloud transition
- Generate short-fuse data reports and analyze migration velocity
- Create visualizations for bi-weekly Agile sprint reviews and stakeholder briefings
- Track and report the data team’s daily efforts
- Develop progress metrics including migration velocity, data validation success rates, and backlog burndown
- Execute rapid-turnaround SQL queries and ad-hoc data pulls
- Investigate sync errors and unblock the migration engineering team during active sprints
- Monitor operational efforts of the data migration team
- Track KPIs for the 100TB data transfer, application cutovers, and ATO/RMF artifact completion
- Design and maintain lightweight real-time migration-health dashboards
- Build incident-tracking reports for the upcoming 24/7 Tier 1/Tier 2 helpdesk
- Generate post-migration data-integrity and FIAR compliance summary reports for the Authorizing Official and auditors
- Adhere to normal working hours, meet deadlines, follow company policies, communicate with supervisors, and complete assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years experience working with ERP, HR, payroll, or financial systems such as JAMIS, ADP, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and measuring/reporting software and data engineering velocity
- Familiarity with federal acquisition systems, FIAR compliance reporting, and DoD financial/procurement data
- Knowledge of metrics used to track large-scale cloud migrations
- High proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Strong skill in BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency pulling data from Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and switch between technical investigations and leadership summary reports
- Ability to translate complex technical activities into clear business impacts
- Ability to anticipate project managers’ questions and proactively build required reports
- Ability to receive and maintain an active IAT2 certification
- If applicable, a post-employment ethics letter is required for recent U.S. government employees if employment with VSolvit is offered
