Job Description
Senior Developer building C++/Linux test probes for CSG’s telecom testing platform. Simulating 4G, 5G, and IoT mobile services for global operators.
Responsibilities:
- Develop next-generation mobile test probes for 4G, 5G, and IoT
- Simulate mobile users using voice, SMS, and data services
- Build applications that help mobile operator customers validate and optimize mobile service performance
- Develop primarily in C and C++ on the Linux platform
- Take responsibility for delivering customer value from high-tech telecom testing solutions
- Work as part of a small, agile development team
Requirements:
- Completed Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in telecom
- Strong proficiency in C++, data structures, and multi-threading programming
- Linux system knowledge
- Solid understanding of the Radio Access Network (RAN) layer of mobile networks
- Good knowledge of mobile network technologies: 3G, 4G, IMS/VoLTE, 5G, and IoT
- Knowledge of network signaling such as SIP, RRC, and NAS as defined in 3GPP
- Talent for AI-driven development
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cellular modems, AT commands, QMI, or modem vendor SDK (bonus)
- Experience with network monitoring tools and protocol analyzers such as Wireshark and QCAT (bonus)
- Familiarity with LUA, Shell, or Perl (bonus)
- Understanding of eUICC/eSIM and GSMA standards (bonus)
- Android development experience (bonus)
