Job Description
Senior Back-end Developer at Quality Digital responsible for developing and maintaining back-end applications using .NET, Delphi, and PL/SQL while ensuring software architecture and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and evolve back-end applications using .NET, Delphi, and PL/SQL
- Design and implement APIs, services, and integrations, ensuring performance, scalability, and security
- Participate in defining software architecture and development best practices
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering standards
- Analyze and resolve complex issues, proposing continuous improvements
- Collaborate with the Product Manager, Tech Lead, and QA in building and delivering solutions
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective)
- Support technical documentation of solutions and systems developed
- Contribute to automation, continuous integration (CI/CD), and process improvements within the squad
- Work in an augmented-efficiency model, using AI tools throughout the development cycle
Requirements:
- Solid experience in back-end development with .NET, Delphi, and PL/SQL
- Knowledge of software architecture, REST APIs, and system integrations
- Experience with relational databases and query optimization
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices (clean code, testing, version control)
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
- Autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of technical responsibility
- Good communication skills and teamwork
- Experience or familiarity with applying AI to the development process
- Experience in modernization or maintenance/support of legacy systems (nice to have)
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations (nice to have)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) — even at an introductory level (nice to have)
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices (nice to have)
- Experience with automated testing (unit or integration) (nice to have)
- Understanding of software architecture (best practices, patterns) (nice to have)
