Job Description

Senior DevOps Engineer managing multi-region AWS, EKS and Terraform infrastructure for Physitrack’s digital health platforms. Leading migrations, CI/CD, databases and cloud cost optimisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Run and evolve the multi-region AWS and EKS platform managed as code in Terraform and deployed through ArgoCD
  • Own CI/CD across repositories using CircleCI and GitHub Actions
  • Keep the path from commit to production fast and reliable
  • Lead infrastructure migrations end to end, including containerising applications, moving databases between providers and regions, and executing verified cutovers with rollback plans
  • Manage PostgreSQL and RDS at production scale, including version upgrades, instance sizing and performance work
  • Keep the Ruby on Rails runtime current through framework upgrades, performance tuning and autoscaling work
  • Own cloud cost through rightsizing, autoscaling, savings-plan utilisation and monthly reporting to Finance
  • Run disaster recovery testing and incident-readiness drills, and remediate findings
  • Act as infrastructure point of contact for engineering, security and commercial colleagues
  • Participate in a 24/7 PagerDuty on-call rotation by agreement
  • Produce runbooks, decision records and incident write-ups

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering
  • Meaningful experience on AWS
  • Production Kubernetes experience, ideally EKS
  • Strong Terraform and an infrastructure-as-code mindset
  • Experience running a real database migration or provider cutover, including verification
  • Comfortable with Linux, containers and GitOps
  • Solid scripting in Python, Go, Bash or similar
  • Application literacy sufficient to debug across the stack
  • English at a working professional level
  • Ruby on Rails familiarity (nice to have)
  • Cost optimisation or FinOps experience at scale (nice to have)
  • Regulated industry background such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA or GDPR (nice to have)
  • Infrastructure consolidation following an acquisition (nice to have)
  • Polish (nice to have)
