Job Description
Senior DevOps Engineer designing scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems for Ninja, a MENA dark-store company. Maintaining secure, highly available services across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and automation tools using industry best practices
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery
- Optimize systems for high availability, scalability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure optimal performance
- Implement and maintain cloud-based services and architectures on AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve infrastructure
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with on-premise and bare metal servers
- Experience working with Linux servers (MS Windows Server is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Prior experience setting up and maintaining services like Relational DBs, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis
- Proficient in CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and security principles
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
