Job Description
Founding data leader scaling CuraLinc Healthcare’s mental-health analytics platform. Owning governed pipelines, executive dashboards, client reporting, and data team growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured discovery with executives and functional leaders to identify unanswered business questions
- Translate business questions into a prioritized roadmap of platform, data model, and analytics deliverables
- Translate business strategy into data architecture and explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
- Own and operate CuraLinc's Microsoft Fabric analytical platform alongside its AWS application architecture
- Establish environment separation, release management, and validation practices for the data platform
- Drive infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability across the analytics stack
- Own metric governance, including canonical definitions, lineage, quality, and the semantic layer
- Unify identity and account data across CRM, financial, and clinical systems
- Integrate clinical, CRM, financial, operational, application, and third-party data into governed pipelines
- Build and maintain executive dashboards and self-serve reporting
- Partner with Software Engineering and Product to deliver analytics through APIs, services, and client-facing applications
- Advance automated, governed, and scheduled internal and client reporting
- Lead, mentor, and grow the Data and Analytics team while remaining hands-on with architecture, design, code, and technical reviews
- Uphold security, privacy, compliance, PHI handling, and multi-tenant isolation in a regulated healthcare environment
- Build data literacy through documentation, training, and accessible tooling
Requirements:
- 10+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering, or data architecture
- 5+ years of technical leadership or engineering management
- Proven experience as a founding or senior data leader owning the full stack from raw data to executive dashboard
- Experience maturing and operating production data platforms, including environment separation, release management, capacity planning, and incident response
- Hands-on experience operating Microsoft Fabric or closely equivalent platforms such as Synapse or enterprise-scale Power BI
- Experience with AWS application infrastructure
- Experience owning metric definitions, semantic layers, or data governance across departments
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java
- Deep grounding in data modeling, query optimization, and analytical architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to present findings and recommendations credibly to executives and a board
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
