Job Description

Senior Enterprise Application Architect leading architecture and modernization of Prison Fellowship’s enterprise application ecosystem. Building integrations and managing architecture aligned with organizational strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • lead the architecture and modernization of our enterprise application ecosystem
  • design target-state architectures and standardize APIs
  • advance event-driven patterns with Redpanda
  • build robust integrations across home-grown applications, Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
  • define, design, implement target-state enterprise application architecture aligned with organizational strategy
  • lead solution design for application technology stack
  • establish SOA and EDA standards, including event schemas and reusable patterns
  • architect secure, scalable optimized integrations
  • create technical documentation and detailed work descriptions for new features, cross-team projects, and architectural & system design changes
  • configure and tune Redpanda clusters for high performance and resiliency
  • promote security-by-design, observability, CI/CD, DEVOPS, and cloud-native best practices
  • partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical roadmaps

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in software engineering/architecture; 5+ in enterprise architecture
  • Hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel), React, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong background in SOA/EDA, Kafka or Redpanda, and API-first architecture (REST/GraphQL)
  • Deep experience integrating with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with developing ETL/ELT, CDC, batch/streaming pipelines, and data quality/lineage practices
  • Experience in IaC (Terraform/Cloudformation)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong security, performance engineering, DevOps, and documentation skills
