Develop and enhance end-to-end functionality for platforms based on Open WebUI
Build and maintain APIs in Python/FastAPI using SQLAlchemy, migrations, and integrations
Implement interfaces with Svelte/SvelteKit and React using TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
Work with RAG pipelines, including document ingestion and chunking, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, and reranking
Develop custom tools, functions, and pipelines to orchestrate model calls, function calling, and integrations
Provision and support applications on Azure, including App Service, AKS, Container Apps, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and PostgreSQL
Automate builds, testing, and deployments through CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and Docker
Manage observability, costs, and security, including logs, metrics, access control, secrets, and token limits
Participate in architecture decisions, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the team’s technical quality

Solid experience in backend development with Python, preferably FastAPI; experience with Flask or Django is also considered
Asynchronous programming
Hands-on experience with Svelte/SvelteKit or React and TypeScript; strong proficiency in one and willingness to learn the other is acceptable
Proven experience deploying applications to production on Azure, including compute, basic networking, storage, managed databases, and secrets management
Daily experience with Docker, including builds, multi-stage builds, and Docker Compose; familiarity with orchestration
PostgreSQL, relational modeling, ORM (SQLAlchemy), and SQL
REST, authentication (JWT, OAuth2/SSO), WebSockets, and third-party API consumption
Git, branching, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD
Technical English for reading documentation and open-source project source code
Nice to have: Open WebUI, Ollama, LiteLLM, or similar technologies; RAG; vector databases; Azure OpenAI; Azure AI Search; Azure AI Foundry; LangChain; LlamaIndex; Semantic Kernel; MCP; Kubernetes/AKS; Terraform; Bicep; Redis; queues; large-scale asynchronous processing; open-source contributions; consulting or projects involving multiple clients
