Job Description
Senior Fullstack Engineer evolving enterprise web applications and integrations for CI&T, which transforms businesses through AI and technology solutions. Building scalable APIs, document processing, and SAP/Ivalua integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Evolve a web application
- Build reliable enterprise integrations
- Scale document processing capabilities
- Rebuild and enhance the web application based on Design team mockups using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Develop user-facing features, including PDF grounding views for reviewing and validating information extracted from documents
- Design, develop, and maintain versioned APIs using Python and Django REST Framework
- Build and maintain integrations between Pegasus, SAP S/4HANA, and Ivalua
- Scale asynchronous batch processing with Celery for workloads involving up to 10,000 PDF documents
- Use PostgreSQL for application data management and persistence
- Implement user metrics to provide application-usage insights and support data-driven improvements
- Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the application, APIs, integrations, and background-processing workflows
- Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business needs
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience in full-stack software development
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing APIs with Django REST Framework
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, including data modeling and database interactions
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating external enterprise systems
- Experience with asynchronous task processing and background jobs, particularly Celery
- Understanding of scalable application architecture, performance optimization, and reliable data processing
- Experience translating design mockups into responsive, user-friendly interfaces
- Knowledge of software testing, version control, code reviews, and maintainable coding practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and take ownership of technical solutions
- Nice to have: experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA and procurement or enterprise platforms such as Ivalua
- Nice to have: experience processing large volumes of documents, particularly PDFs
- Nice to have: familiarity with document preview, annotation, grounding, or validation interfaces
- Nice to have: experience implementing product analytics, user metrics, and usage tracking
- Nice to have: knowledge of cloud-based deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and application observability
- Nice to have: experience improving the performance and reliability of distributed processing workflows
