Job Description
Full Stack Engineer developing AI-powered products for a fast-moving startup using the MERN stack. Collaborating on key features with engineering, product, and AI teams while ensuring scalability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications
- Build intuitive and high-performance user experiences using React
- Develop secure and reliable backend services using Node.js and Express
- Design and optimize APIs, databases, and application architecture
- Collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Integrate AI capabilities into product workflows and user experiences
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues when required
- Contribute to engineering best practices, code reviews, and development standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role
- Strong experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience building and maintaining scalable web applications
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
- Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and scalability
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI-powered services is a plus
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, state management, and responsive design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
