Job Description
Senior iOS Mobile Developer at Aequilibrium developing and customizing digital banking applications on Backbase platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly banking solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain native iOS applications built on the Backbase Digital Banking Platform.
- Extend and integrate Backbase mobile components to meet client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly banking solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and release planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining high application performance and reliability.
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Swift and UIKit.
- Hands-on experience extending, integrating, and customizing the Backbase Digital Banking Platform.
- Experience delivering digital banking solutions for credit unions, banks, or other financial institutions.
- Experience working in a professional services, consulting, or client-facing environment.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modern mobile development patterns.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
- Experience with reactive programming using Combine and/or RxSwift.
- Experience creating automated unit tests and maintaining high code quality standards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and mobile release processes.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
