Job Description
IT Product Owner für Datenplattformen beim deutschen Glasfasernetzbetreiber OXG. Steuerung von Anforderungen, Datenmodellen und agilen DevOps-Teams für den FTTH-Ausbau in Deutschland.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze internal and external requirements together with the business units
- Develop viable technical solution concepts
- Advise stakeholders throughout the entire requirements process, from defining the problem to creating user stories
- Assess and prioritize requirements by urgency and value
- Coordinate and lead agile DevOps teams from a business perspective
- Own the success of requirements with respect to scope, effort, schedule and quality
- Initiate appropriate measures in coordination with the team and requestors when necessary
- Contribute to the continuous optimization and digitization of the OXG IT landscape and business processes
Requirements:
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, IT project manager, or in a comparable role
- Degree in Business Informatics or a related field preferred
- Extensive knowledge in designing and developing data models
- Experience with ETL processes
- Experience analyzing and processing large datasets in cloud environments, especially AWS
- Solid knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Technical understanding of data flows and interfaces
- Ideally proficient in SQL and Python
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics clearly and appropriately for different audiences
- Ability to manage expectations proactively and to prepare well-founded decision documents
- High degree of initiative, self-organization and commitment
- Structured and strategic way of working
- Fluent German and English (business level)
