Job Description

IT Product Owner für Datenplattformen beim deutschen Glasfasernetzbetreiber OXG. Steuerung von Anforderungen, Datenmodellen und agilen DevOps-Teams für den FTTH-Ausbau in Deutschland.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze internal and external requirements together with the business units
  • Develop viable technical solution concepts
  • Advise stakeholders throughout the entire requirements process, from defining the problem to creating user stories
  • Assess and prioritize requirements by urgency and value
  • Coordinate and lead agile DevOps teams from a business perspective
  • Own the success of requirements with respect to scope, effort, schedule and quality
  • Initiate appropriate measures in coordination with the team and requestors when necessary
  • Contribute to the continuous optimization and digitization of the OXG IT landscape and business processes

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as a Product Owner, IT project manager, or in a comparable role
  • Degree in Business Informatics or a related field preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in designing and developing data models
  • Experience with ETL processes
  • Experience analyzing and processing large datasets in cloud environments, especially AWS
  • Solid knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Technical understanding of data flows and interfaces
  • Ideally proficient in SQL and Python
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics clearly and appropriately for different audiences
  • Ability to manage expectations proactively and to prepare well-founded decision documents
  • High degree of initiative, self-organization and commitment
  • Structured and strategic way of working
  • Fluent German and English (business level)
