Job Description
Senior Workday specialist configuring Time Tracking and Absence solutions for Kyndryl’s global workforce. Supporting compliant HR, payroll, and Hire-to-Retire operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Time Tracking and Absence
- Own solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment across global business requirements
- Partner with HR, Payroll, downstream teams, integration partners, and technical teams
- Translate business requirements into Workday configuration solutions
- Advise on best practices and identify impacts across related domains
- Ensure solutions are accurate, compliant, scalable, sustainable, and supportable
- Support production Workday environments, including troubleshooting and configuration changes in live systems
- Drive work to completion with limited oversight and manage competing priorities
- Assess end-to-end impacts across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, with deep expertise in Time Tracking and Absence
- Ability to independently design and deliver Workday configuration solutions from requirements through deployment
- Strong understanding of time, absence, and payroll-related business processes, including downstream impacts
- Experience supporting production Workday environments, including troubleshooting and configuration changes in live systems
- Experience supporting global or multi-country Workday deployments
- Familiarity with Workday business process frameworks, security considerations, and reporting impacts related to Time and Absence
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable Workday solutions using best-practice configuration approaches
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in an enterprise, cross-functional environment
- Preferred: experience configuring additional Workday functional areas such as Compensation, Benefits, or Projects
- Preferred: experience working in a matrixed or global team
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field
