Job Description

Senior Workday Time and Absence specialist designing and configuring HR solutions for Kyndryl’s global technology operations. Supporting compliant, scalable workforce systems across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Time Tracking and Absence
  • Own solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment across global business requirements
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, downstream teams, integration partners, and technical teams
  • Translate business requirements into Workday configuration solutions
  • Advise on best practices and identify impacts across related domains
  • Ensure solutions are sustainable, supportable, accurate, compliant, and scalable
  • Support day-to-day operations and evolving business needs
  • Troubleshoot and implement configuration changes in live Workday systems
  • Assess end-to-end impacts across the Hire-to-Retire lifecycle
  • Manage competing priorities and drive work to completion with limited oversight

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, with deep expertise in Time Tracking and Absence
  • Ability to independently design and deliver Workday configuration solutions from requirements through deployment
  • Strong understanding of time, absence, and payroll-related business processes, including downstream impacts
  • Experience supporting production Workday environments, including troubleshooting and configuration changes in live systems
  • Experience supporting global or multi-country Workday deployments
  • Familiarity with Workday business process frameworks, security considerations, and reporting impacts related to Time and Absence
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, supportable Workday solutions using best-practice configuration approaches
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in an enterprise, cross-functional environment
  • Preferred: experience configuring additional Workday functional areas such as Compensation, Benefits, or Projects
  • Preferred: experience working in a matrixed or global team
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, HRIS, or a related field (preferred)
