Job Description
Workday Compensation Specialist leading Workday HCM Compensation solutions at Kyndryl, which delivers managed technology services. Designing global compensation cycles, configurations, and system enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of Workday HR solutions
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation solutions
- Support the Workday Compensation capability area and contribute to HCM Core, Staffing/Onboarding, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting
- Partner with the Compensation/Total Rewards Team to design and deploy complex global annual merit and bonus cycles
- Analyze, design, develop, and deliver functional modifications and enhancements to Workday HR systems and tools
- Serve as a Workday SME and participate in Workday Releases
- Manage annual compensation administration, including merit and incentive processes
- Maintain salary administration, job structure, total compensation structure, eligibility, communication, and training
- Configure, test, and administer annual Workday processes such as Performance Reviews and Compensation cycles
- Create and maintain dashboards for business leaders
- Audit system data for accuracy and serve as the primary reviewer for data entry
- Plan and coordinate departmental preparations for major system updates
- Act as the main support contact for user questions and own identified issues
- Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and identify solutions for Workday product gaps
- Provide global coverage across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certifications preferred)
- 7+ years as a hands-on Workday SME configuring and maintaining HCM Core and Advanced Compensation modules
- Experience leading Core and Advanced Compensation cycles in Workday
- Experience deploying multiple Workday HCM implementations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to work with executive leadership and clients
- Strong communication skills to translate business needs into system configuration
- Knowledge of HR processes and touch points in HCM, payroll, benefits, time tracking, recruiting, and security
- Experience supporting HCM Core, Staffing/Onboarding, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting
- Workday Core HR certification
- Workday Compensation certification
- Experience as a solution architect in a large-scale environment preferred
- Experience with global coverage and supporting stakeholders across multiple regions preferred
