Job Description
Senior Marketing Automation Consultant driving client success through digital transformation in the Govtech industry. Leading implementation projects and mentoring clients on marketing automation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Expand and lead complex onboarding and implementation projects for new clients, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of the marketing automation platform
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, translating marketing goals into actionable automation strategies using creative solutions from a comprehensive view
- Design and execute advanced marketing automation programs, including lead scoring, multi-step nurture campaigns, and dynamic segmentation
- Develop and deliver customized training sessions for clients on advanced platform features and strategic use cases
- Present strategic insights, performance reports, and optimization plans to clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing automation efforts with broader digital marketing strategies
- Lead initiatives to improve departmental processes, efficiency, and scalability in partnership with the Manager of Marketing Automation
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of internal best practices and training materials
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing automation and digital strategy
- Contribute to thought leadership through internal documentation, webinars, and client-facing content
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing automation, digital strategy, and customer experience, preferably in a software/tech or agency environment working with Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs)
- Proven success in a client-facing role with strategic influence and leadership responsibilities
- Expert knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Act-On preferred) and their integration with CRM systems
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in campaign performance analysis and optimization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and analytics/tracking tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while contributing to team goals
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong travel and tourism industry knowledge
