Job Description
Senior MuleSoft Developer designing and supporting enterprise integrations on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Remote role requiring U.S. citizenship for federally regulated work.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions
- Develop MuleSoft APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Build RESTful APIs and implement API-led Connectivity
- Perform data transformation using DataWeave 2.x
- Create and maintain MUnit test suites and automated tests
- Manage APIs using MuleSoft API Manager and API Gateway
- Apply API lifecycle management, error handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns
- Use CI/CD tools to support development and deployment
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
- Create reusable integration assets and shared frameworks
- Participate in code reviews and produce technical documentation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Strong experience developing MuleSoft APIs and integrations
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API-led Connectivity
- Strong DataWeave 2.x development and data transformation experience
- Strong experience with MUnit test suites and automated testing
- Experience with MuleSoft API Manager and API Gateway
- API lifecycle management
- Error handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, messaging, security, and performance optimization
- Production support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
- Experience creating reusable integration assets and shared frameworks
- Experience with code reviews and technical documentation
- U.S. citizenship required because of federal regulations and the sensitive nature of the work
- Ability to work remotely in EST or CST time zones
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) – Level 1 preferred
- MuleSoft Platform Architect / Integration Architect certification preferred
- Experience with CloudHub 2.0 preferred
- Experience with Runtime Fabric / Hybrid deployments preferred
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and API security preferred
- Federal, state, or local government project experience preferred
- Agile / Scrum experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred
- MuleSoft certification strongly preferred
