Job Description
Senior Natural Gas Engineer providing advanced engineering solutions for gas infrastructure projects at CHA Consulting. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting project execution with reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for gas infrastructure projects
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in critical gas systems
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting reliable and cost-effective gas solutions
- Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering required
- Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Autodesk, Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of 49 CFR 192, ASME B31.8 and other industry related codes as well as QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
- Ability to design meter and regulator stations
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
