Job Description
Senior .NET Backend Engineer building .NET and C# backend services for scientific workflow systems. Developing Azure, MS SQL, API, testing, and deployment solutions remotely in Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET and C#
- Design and implement reliable data access and persistence solutions using MS SQL
- Contribute to secure and maintainable application architecture
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and domain colleagues to translate user needs into technical solutions
- Support engineering quality through testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to delivery and deployment practices within the Azure ecosystem
Requirements:
- Strong, hands-on experience with .NET and C#
- Solid MS SQL skills, including working with relational data models and queries
- Experience developing or operating solutions in Microsoft Azure
- Fluent English
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) is a nice-to-have
- Experience with GitHub pipelines and CI/CD practices is a nice-to-have
- Experience with Vue 3 is a strong advantage, but frontend experience is not essential
