Job Description
Senior .NET Engineer building scalable C#/.NET microservices for Avenga’s enterprise food-ordering platform. Designing solutions, testing code, and contributing to architecture decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable end-to-end solutions within distributed and microservices-based architecture
- Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code using C#/.NET
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability
- Analyze and solve complex technical problems
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architecture and engineering decisions
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Communicate technical solutions and concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve engineering practices and product quality
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and meet sprint and quarterly delivery commitments
- Contribute to high standards of code quality, performance, and efficiency
- Work on an American project for an enterprise-grade online food ordering platform used by major US restaurant chains and millions of users
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering
- Excellent knowledge of C# and .NET
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience architecting and developing end-to-end flows in distributed and microservices-based architectures
- Solid experience writing unit tests and developing testable, maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good technical judgment and ability to challenge assumptions and consider different perspectives
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience providing constructive feedback and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Ability to consistently deliver sprint and quarterly commitments while maintaining quality and efficiency
- English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
- Nice-to-have: experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Nice-to-have: experience with CI/CD and deployment tools such as TeamCity and Octopus
- Nice-to-have: experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog and Sumo Logic
- Nice-to-have: experience with end-to-end testing using Playwright
