Job Description
Senior IFS analyst leading finance ERP implementations and support for General Dynamics OTS, a defense and weapons systems manufacturer. Supervising specialists, optimizing processes, and training users.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance-focused IFS support specialists
- Lead or coordinate implementation projects transitioning sites' financials from legacy ERP systems to IFS
- Tailor and optimize business processes to align with standard IFS functionality
- Conduct testing, validation, and end-user training for new locations using IFS Finance modules
- Evaluate, recommend, design, and develop engaging and effective digital products
- Support enhancements to existing systems to drive end-user adoption and support business needs
- Identify requirements and enhance digital product usability through intuitive process flows, tests, and prototypes
- Act as primary contact to development and support analysts supporting other parts of the business
- Ensure clear communication and successful issue resolution
- Monitor technology and business trends, end-user preferences, and opportunities to apply new technologies
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree and 10-12 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of compatibility testing, functional requirements, IT operations, IT performance management, process mapping, requirements analysis, system development life cycle, system documentation, system integration testing, system integrations, systems analysis, systems modelling, technical specification design, and diagramming software
- Proven experience in ERP systems, with a focus on finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Projects)
- Knowledge and experience in how an ERP financial system functions and operates
- Strong background in both production support and implementation of ERP solutions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Up to 25% travel likely
