Job Description
Senior Product Designer shaping AI-native, human-centered behavioral health and absence management experiences at ComPsych. Leading research, prototyping, design systems, and end-to-end product delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design initiatives within behavioral health and absence management experiences
- Own initiatives from discovery through execution, including framing problems, running research, prototyping, and shipping with product and engineering
- Raise design maturity through user research, data-driven decision making, mentorship, critique, systems thinking, and influence
- Use AI for research synthesis, prototyping, exploration, documentation, execution, and minimizing handoffs
- Partner with product, engineering, and subject-matter stakeholders to turn ambiguous, high-stakes problems into testable user outcomes
- Participate in brainstorming, design critiques, and storytelling with design peers
- Evolve long-term product vision, design systems, visual language, and design principles
- Create journey maps and service blueprints covering frontstage and backstage experiences
- Use storytelling to connect user outcomes with business objectives and drive innovation
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to own experience design end-to-end, from problem framing through delivery and iterative data-led refinements
- Strong core UX design skills and craft in execution
- Experience designing elegant solutions within complex product domains
- Track record of raising the design maturity of teams through mentorship, critique, systems thinking, or influence
- Fluency with AI as a working tool for prototyping, research synthesis, faster iterations, designing in code, and documentation
- Familiarity with LLM capabilities, constraints, and human factors
- Passion for mission-driven, human-centered work supporting functional and emotional needs
- Ability to articulate design process and rationale for design decisions
- Ability to persuade peers and executives and adapt based on evidence
- Experience working in Agile product delivery teams
- Experience in behavioral health, absence management, or another regulated, data-sensitive industry
- Accessibility expertise and working knowledge of WCAG 2.2
- Strong mobile design skills
