Job Description

Senior Product Designer crafting UX/UI for Brightspeed’s fiber internet website, eCommerce, and customer account platforms. Applying AI-assisted design methods and elevating team quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Own complex UX/UI design projects end-to-end, from discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity delivery and developer handoff
  • Design across the website, eCommerce experience, and customer account platform
  • Set the quality standard for team output across levels of fidelity
  • Make and communicate trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope
  • Produce organized, maintainable Figma files
  • Translate strategic direction into concrete design approaches
  • Identify opportunities for AI-enabled experiences and use AI-assisted or agent-building tools to create and evaluate prototypes
  • Partner with product, content, engineering, analysts, product owners, and strategists
  • Develop data-informed design recommendations and identify experience gaps
  • Stay current with UX, UI, and eCommerce design trends
  • Raise team craft through critique, knowledge-sharing, and strong design thinking
  • Provide constructive feedback to junior designers
  • Plan and facilitate usability testing, design reviews, and research sessions
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations
  • Champion user-centered decision-making
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, UX, HCI, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
  • Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and exceptional craft across complex digital products
  • Demonstrated experience using AI in a professional product-design process, including at least one substantial example involving design exploration, prototyping, workflow improvement, or an AI-enabled experience
  • Expert Figma skills
  • Comfortable working within and contributing to established design systems
  • Ability to execute independently, take a brief, ask the right questions, and deliver without constant direction
  • Critical thinking and ability to articulate design rationale clearly and confidently
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach and investment in colleagues’ growth
  • English required
  • Experience in eCommerce, telecommunications, or high-volume digital consumer products is a plus
  • Familiarity with front-end development workflows and developer handoff best practices is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with UserTesting, Maze, or Lookback is a plus
  • Background in conversion rate optimization or data-driven design experimentation is a plus
