Job Description
Senior Product Designer crafting UX/UI for Brightspeed’s fiber internet website, eCommerce, and customer account platforms. Applying AI-assisted design methods and elevating team quality.
Responsibilities:
- Own complex UX/UI design projects end-to-end, from discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity delivery and developer handoff
- Design across the website, eCommerce experience, and customer account platform
- Set the quality standard for team output across levels of fidelity
- Make and communicate trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope
- Produce organized, maintainable Figma files
- Translate strategic direction into concrete design approaches
- Identify opportunities for AI-enabled experiences and use AI-assisted or agent-building tools to create and evaluate prototypes
- Partner with product, content, engineering, analysts, product owners, and strategists
- Develop data-informed design recommendations and identify experience gaps
- Stay current with UX, UI, and eCommerce design trends
- Raise team craft through critique, knowledge-sharing, and strong design thinking
- Provide constructive feedback to junior designers
- Plan and facilitate usability testing, design reviews, and research sessions
- Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations
- Champion user-centered decision-making
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, UX, HCI, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and exceptional craft across complex digital products
- Demonstrated experience using AI in a professional product-design process, including at least one substantial example involving design exploration, prototyping, workflow improvement, or an AI-enabled experience
- Expert Figma skills
- Comfortable working within and contributing to established design systems
- Ability to execute independently, take a brief, ask the right questions, and deliver without constant direction
- Critical thinking and ability to articulate design rationale clearly and confidently
- Collaborative, low-ego approach and investment in colleagues’ growth
- English required
- Experience in eCommerce, telecommunications, or high-volume digital consumer products is a plus
- Familiarity with front-end development workflows and developer handoff best practices is a plus
- Hands-on experience with UserTesting, Maze, or Lookback is a plus
- Background in conversion rate optimization or data-driven design experimentation is a plus
