Job Description
Senior Product Designer shaping UX/UI for Brightspeed’s fiber internet website, eCommerce, and customer account platforms. Applying AI-assisted design methods to improve consumer digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own complex UX/UI design projects end-to-end, from discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity delivery and developer handoff
- Design across the website, eCommerce experience, and customer account platform
- Set the quality standard for the team’s design output
- Make trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope and communicate decisions to the Manager and stakeholders
- Produce organized Figma files for team development and maintenance
- Translate strategic direction into concrete design approaches
- Identify opportunities for AI-enabled experiences
- Use AI-assisted or agent-building tools to create and evaluate prototypes with product, content, and engineering teams
- Provide data-informed design recommendations and explain the reasoning behind them
- Partner with analysts, product owners, and strategists to interpret data and identify experience gaps
- Propose design-led improvements
- Monitor UX, UI, and eCommerce design trends and introduce relevant ideas
- Raise team craft through critique, knowledge-sharing, and strong design thinking
- Provide constructive feedback to junior designers
- Plan and facilitate usability testing, design reviews, and research sessions
- Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations
- Champion user-centered decision-making
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, UX, HCI, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and exceptional craft across complex digital products
- Demonstrated experience using AI in a professional product-design process
- Ability to discuss a substantial AI-related example involving design exploration, prototyping, workflow improvement, or an AI-enabled experience
- Expert Figma proficiency
- Experience working within and contributing to established design systems
- Ability to execute independently and deliver without constant direction
- Ability to think critically and articulate design rationale clearly and confidently
- Collaborative, low-ego approach
- English required
- Spanish bilingual ability is a plus
- Ability to work primarily sedentary, indoors, from a home or company office
- Occasional additional hours may be required to meet project deadlines
