Job Description
Senior Product Designer shaping intuitive AI-powered SAP enterprise applications at Neptune Software. Building code-based prototypes and evolving the Neptune DX Platform design system.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end design process from discovery and user research through wireframing, prototyping, and final UI delivery
- Build interactive, code-based prototypes using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and AI-assisted tooling
- Translate complex enterprise workflows and user needs into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling product experiences
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, consistent, and aligned with business goals
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and competitor analyses
- Maintain and evolve Neptune's design system
- Present and communicate design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively
- Advocate for the end user throughout the product development lifecycle
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product design or UI/UX design, ideally in a B2B or enterprise software environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work across web or desktop applications
- Extensive hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows, including self-configured tooling such as Claude, Cursor, Figma AI, or MCP servers
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design patterns, and accessibility standards
- Hands-on frontend development capabilities with HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams alongside engineers and product managers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions clearly
- Experience designing for enterprise platforms, low-code/no-code tools, or developer-facing products is preferred
- Familiarity with design systems is preferred
- Deeper front-end proficiency in React component architecture, TypeScript, and modern design-system tooling is preferred
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design improvements is preferred
- Exposure to the SAP ecosystem or similar enterprise software landscapes is a plus
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring peers and contributing to a design culture is preferred
