Job Description
Senior Product Engineer building AI-powered reliability tools for Checkly’s DevTools SaaS. Shipping full-stack features and improving monitoring for AI-native software.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship full-stack features using AI coding agents
- Explore solutions, generate scaffolding, refactor, generate tests, and debug
- Talk directly with developers, DevOps, and SRE teams to understand workflows and pain points
- Use customer conversations to validate ideas and iterate on products
- Address flaky tests, flaky checks, unclear failures, and noisy alerts
- Shape ideas through implementation, rollout, and production monitoring
- Participate in on-call and support customers when issues arise
Requirements:
- Experience shipping features with AI using a comparable stack
- Experience building and running production software
- Ability to reason about customer problems and product solutions
- Autonomous and self-motivated in a remote setup
- Ability to work within UTC-3 to UTC+3 time zones
- Ability to travel to other European countries without waiting for a visa appointment
- Willingness to use AI extensively in daily work
- Ability to work asynchronously with documentation and threads
- Willingness to participate in support and on-call rotations
