Job Description
Senior Product Engineer building ProfitPath, an all-in-one sourcing platform for Amazon sellers. Owning full-stack features, scalable product data, and search from database to UI.
Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver features end to end — from database schema to polished UI
- Architect scalable solutions for real-time product data and search
- Collaborate with Design and Product to define technical approaches and trade-offs
- Write clean, well-tested code and conduct thorough code reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape a culture of engineering excellence
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the entire stack
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when it matters most
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack web development experience
- TypeScript, React, and Node.js are your everyday tools
- RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL — schema design and query optimization
- You independently drive projects from idea to production
- Strong communication skills — you can explain technical decisions to non-technical audiences
- Nice to have: Next.js App Router, Server Components, and React Server Components
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, Amazon SP-API, or marketplace data
- Experience scaling data pipelines, web scraping, or ETL processes
- Open-source contributions or a strong technical blog/portfolio
- You actively use AI tools and continuously improve your workflows
- You simplify rather than add unnecessary complexity
- You are self-motivated to learn — new tools, new patterns, and new domain knowledge
