Job Description
Senior Product Manager leading roadmap, research, and Scrum delivery for Chronosphere’s cloud observability platform. Driving adoption, pricing, metrics, and go-to-market strategy at Palo Alto Networks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform primary research by interviewing end-users and buyers
- Present strategies to senior leadership and provide direction amid complexity and ambiguity
- Build researched perspectives on current customer and prospective customer needs
- Understand the competitive landscape
- Set priorities and shape the product roadmap
- Establish key performance metrics cross-functionally and manage against them
- Communicate priorities and roadmap and align the team
- Convert concepts into buildable projects
- Act as product owner for a Scrum team working on observability features
- Manage the backlog, groom stories, and break down tasks
- Coordinate with go-to-market teams on positioning and messaging
- Learn the current roadmap and product during the initial period
- Establish an independent perspective on market needs through customer conversations, research, and internal collaboration
- Take ownership of the product area and establish problem statements and PRDs
- Drive Scrum meetings and sprint planning
- Own success metrics, pricing changes when required, SLOs, and the COGS profile
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other functions to support go-to-market positioning and selling
- Stay close to customers and prospects to advance product capabilities and deliver customer value
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager on a B2B cloud-native product
- Experience building and operating SaaS products
- Knowledge of cloud platforms
- Track record of delivering software with agile processes and tight feedback loops
- Track record of leveraging GenAI to improve customer outcomes and Product Management productivity
- Experience working with customers and prospects
- Ability to turn customer research into a coherent strategy
- Strong focus on product usability and detail
- Experience partnering with UX to build features
- Experience working with or building data storage tiers
- Willingness to dive deeply into cloud-native monitoring and troubleshooting
- Technical product management experience serving technical audiences
- Experience with observability products or cloud-native technologies
