Job Description
Senior Product Manager consulting tech startups and scale-ups on product strategy, MVP launches, and product pivots. Leading cross-functional delivery and discovery initiatives for sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an Interim Product Manager for clients at various stages of the product life cycle
- Guide products from building MVPs through launch and evaluation
- Salvage stalled initiatives, help scale-ups meet quarterly KPIs, steer product pivots, and set up new product departments or capabilities
- Make product and business decisions affecting clients
- Oversee delivery and discovery processes for several initiatives simultaneously
- Collaborate with Product, Program, and Project Managers depending on client setup
- Partner with stakeholders and handle people and high-pressure situations with prompt, honest responses
- Align stakeholders on solutions that support their interests and product goals
- Propose and own initiatives that strengthen Product Impact, accelerate client delivery, and optimize long-term profitability and growth
- Lead teams of high-performing individuals and own the product lifecycle from strategy to evaluation
- Work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps and discover new opportunities
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on a tech product, ideally in a start-up environment
- Focus on user experience and a strong understanding of business needs
- Experience leading a cross-functional team with agile methods
- Experience with web or mobile applications and front-end technologies
- Ability to switch between analytical and creative thinking
