Job Description

Senior Product Manager shaping complex technology transformation programmes for Version 1’s public and private sector clients. Setting product vision, roadmaps, and user-centred delivery direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and hold the vision at programme level
  • Own the organisational roadmap across multiple teams
  • Plan, prioritise, and communicate across teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
  • Surface and resolve cross-organisational dependencies
  • Frame problems before solutions through continuous discovery
  • Champion user insight in priorities and trade-offs
  • Govern suppliers and partners and hold them to shared goals
  • Navigate difficult conversations diplomatically across client and supplier teams
  • Collaborate across design, engineering, data, and policy disciplines
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings leading to clear decisions
  • Shape and secure incoming work by identifying opportunities and crafting propositions
  • Drive progress and ensure teams deliver outcomes
  • Deliver work with integrity

Requirements:

  • Proven product practitioner with a strong grasp of product management fundamentals
  • User-centred approach
  • Strategic thinking connecting user needs, business goals, and delivery realities
  • Storytelling and ability to craft compelling narratives
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to navigate disagreement respectfully
  • Adaptability in ambiguous environments
  • Accountability and ability to make tough decisions
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams
  • Ability to solve the right problems and drive measurable outcomes
  • Ability to make clear, timely decisions balancing user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
  • Experience working with SFIA and DDaT frameworks is desirable but not essential
