Job Description
Senior Product Manager owning Payward's payments platform roadmap. Shaping APIs, SDKs, PSP integrations and payment infrastructure for global financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Payward's payments platform, including the shared backend and client integration surfaces
- Map requirements across internal clients and evolve the platform's vision and capabilities
- Partner with engineering to create a sequenced, high-impact roadmap with milestones
- Prioritize competing client needs, communicate trade-offs and make decisions
- Shape the client experience from initial conversation through go-live
- Work with banking and partnerships teams to build PSP and bank integrations once for use across Payward businesses
- Incorporate compliance, risk and legal requirements across entities and jurisdictions into the roadmap
- Set and track platform success metrics, including launch time, go-live time, rail availability and payment success rates
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a platform, API or infrastructure role
- Working knowledge of payments, including pay-ins and payouts, PSPs and acquirers, ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments, SWIFT and local methods
- Strong technical fluency, including reading RFCs, challenging architecture decisions and writing API specifications
- Experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, SDKs or embeddable UI components
- Clear, structured writing for product, compliance and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage many stakeholders with different priorities and build alignment without direct authority
- Comfort working with data to set goals and measure platform adoption and performance
- More than 2 years working at a PSP (application form requirement)
- Nice to have: experience at a PSP, payment orchestrator or payments infrastructure company
- Nice to have: background with multi-tenant SaaS or B2B2C platforms
- Nice to have: familiarity with crypto, stablecoins or on/off-ramps
- Nice to have: experience across multiple regulated legal entities or licensing regimes
