Job Description
Senior Product Manager leading the Personnel team to automate compliance solutions at Vanta. Driving customer insights and AI integration in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Personnel — define how Vanta helps customers maintain an accurate system of record for people data, automate employee lifecycle workflows, and connect personnel data to compliance outcomes across frameworks
- Identify and execute on the agentic AI opportunity — lead the exploration and development of AI-powered workflows that proactively act on personnel data to surface compliance risks and automate remediation
- Drive deep customer discovery across all segments — understand how customers manage HR data, integrations, and personnel changes; build scalable solutions that serve startups through enterprise
- Partner across EPD and GTM to ship iteratively — work closely with engineering, design, sales, solutions engineering, and customer success to deliver high-quality features and drive adoption
- Define success metrics and make data-informed decisions — establish clear KPIs for adoption, customer value, and business impact; use quantitative and qualitative data to guide prioritization
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of building for diverse customer segments including enterprise
- Technical fluency — comfortable with APIs, HRIS integrations, and data infrastructure; able to partner effectively with engineering on complex systems architecture decisions
- Proven AI product experience — you've built AI-powered products or features and understand how to identify where AI creates meaningful differentiation and real customer value
- A strong PM foundation — structured thinking, sharp prioritization, and the ability to balance big-picture strategy with pragmatic, iterative execution
- Customer-centric discovery skills — you go deep with customers, translate qualitative insights into scalable product solutions, and know the difference between a one-off request and a platform opportunity
- Experience working in upmarket or enterprise contexts — you understand multi-stakeholder buying, data governance, and the complexity that comes with large-organization compliance
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
