Job Description

Senior Product Owner shaping software products for Dreamix’s global enterprise clients. Managing backlogs, releases, requirements, and delivery across aviation, transportation, fintech, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery process
  • Transform high-level requirements into structured user stories understandable for stakeholders and the delivery team
  • Develop a detailed understanding of customer needs as they relate to the product backlog
  • Advocate for and manage the value of product releases
  • Prepare release notes and negotiate release dates
  • Ensure the backlog is appropriately sized, including epics and stories, based on backlog order
  • Communicate and advocate the product vision
  • Lead and communicate the release plan
  • Engage with development to commit backlog items to sprint deliverables
  • Work with development teams, including Dev, QA, and DevOps, to address questions and concerns during sprints
  • Validate customer needs and understand the product vision
  • Work with subject matter experts and vendors to understand the operating context for the product development being led
  • Build rapport with key stakeholders and improve product direction

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software product
  • Experience in multiple industries, projects, and product setups
  • Fluent level of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of gathering and processing software requirements
  • Proven record of working in an international environment with a variety of stakeholders and personalities
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive mind
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team spirit
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
  • Background with JIRA and agile software methodologies
  • Experience in the domains of Aviation, Insurance, or Energy is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of software technologies, including databases, integrations, and working with data, is an advantage
  • Experience in projects with fixed time, scope, and budget is an advantage
