Job Description
Senior Product Security Engineer securing Staffbase’s AI-native employee experience platform. Improving security automation, Kubernetes and CI/CD security, and vulnerability detection.
Responsibilities:
- Own tasks that improve security automation and strengthen product security pipelines
- Explore the use of AI for vulnerability detection and remediation
- Learn and share knowledge about vulnerabilities in the product context
- Enhance team services with software engineering solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the product department
- Review metrics related to outbound email security
- Maintain the Web Application Firewall ruleset
- Work on Kubernetes security
- Secure CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain the central HTML sanitization service written in TypeScript
Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of security topics, including penetration testing, secure software development, vulnerability management, SAST, and DAST
- Strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python
- Practical knowledge of Unix and Kubernetes infrastructure
- Experience with Terraform and Kustomize is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- German is a plus
