Job Description
Senior Python Developer developing robust backend systems for web and mobile applications. Collaborating with Agile team, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality code delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an agile team to design, build, and optimize backend solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best coding practices.
- Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, write tests, and ensure the delivery of clean, maintainable code.
- Actively participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and user story estimation.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, with team members and stakeholders.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of backend development with Python in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Pydantic (validation, typing, dependency injection, async I/O).
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and enterprise patterns.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, performance tuning).
- Proven experience in building and maintaining production-level applications.
- Experience building automated tests (e.g., pytest) and delivering clean, maintainable code.
- Practical experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript and/or Python) to provision AWS resources (e.g., VPC, ECS/Lambda, RDS for PostgreSQL, API Gateway, SQS/SNS).
- Experience with Cursor, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar AI tools
