Job Description

Senior Researcher in Real-World Evidence supporting data analysis and project needs at CVS Health. Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to study design and data quality management.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and analyze raw data to create complex analytic datasets
  • Support the extraction, transformation, and integration of data from various sources
  • Create complex algorithms, applications, and data visualizations
  • Responsible for data quality and identifying data gaps
  • Mentor junior analysts
  • Conduct statistical and methodological activities in design, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination
  • Contribute to study design and review protocols
  • Develop data structures and perform analyses of structured and unstructured data
  • Present analytic results and prepare research abstracts, manuscripts, and reporting

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in biostatistics, health economics, outcome research, epidemiology, or other related fields with minimum of 5+ years of experience if MS; or PhD with 1+ year experience
  • Working with claim data, electronic medical record data, or other real-world health data
  • Strong understanding of analytics in healthcare/retail industry
  • Leading project management activities, including communications within project teams, stakeholder management, and leadership updates
  • Extracting actionable insights from complex models for diverse audiences
  • Advanced statistical modeling, propensity score matching, etc.
  • Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
