Job Description

Senior Sage X3 consultant leading ERP operations implementations for NexTec Group, a business technology and ERP consulting firm. Driving requirements, configuration, training, testing, and go-live success.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and/or lead the financial areas of Sage X3 projects
  • Read Statements of Work and Master Service Agreements before engaging on projects
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal guidance and oversight in alignment with project documentation and NexTec methodology
  • Maintain 70 percent or higher average annual utilization
  • Maintain appropriate Sage X3 certifications and continue developing Sage X3 skills
  • Lead requirements gathering and design activities for operations modules
  • Interact with consulting and client core teams to collect information
  • Lead or oversee configuration, training, testing, and go-live activities for medium-size or complex projects
  • Lead activities and resolve functional questions with minimal escalation
  • Communicate status, issues, and concerns to project managers and architects/leads
  • Coach team members and provide quality assurance for methodology and best-practice adherence
  • Negotiate resolutions to business, process, and functional issues with stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with customers
  • Follow NexTec implementation methodologies
  • Achieve utilization targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, Cannabis or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Eight or more years of ERP implementation experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience implementing Sage X3
  • Sage X3 Manufacturing Certification is required, or willingness to obtain additional certifications
  • Additional certifications are a plus
  • Prior professional services consulting experience preferred
  • Prior experience facilitating group design discussions preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to describe end-to-end business processes and key integration points
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across different business processes
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in an energetic, fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in business process and application functions
  • Intermediate understanding of industry best practices
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work well with team members and customers
  • Must be located in the United States
