Job Description
Senior Salesforce Developer supporting AAA’s membership, insurance, travel, and financial-services platforms. Building Salesforce architecture, custom applications, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Salesforce environment, users, configuration, customization, and custom application implementation
- Create customer solutions leveraging the Salesforce platform
- Develop Salesforce capability and architecture roadmaps
- Develop a scalable enterprise view across all business lines within Salesforce
- Administer, develop, and support Salesforce applications, including configuration, data setup, and ongoing maintenance
- Serve as the key subject matter expert on complex or critical Salesforce business issues and processes
- Collaborate with project teams on application enhancements, system modeling, physical design, installation, and application tuning
- Develop functionality including custom objects, fields, formulas, processes, flows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics
- Develop and debug custom code using APEX, Lightning Components, Visualforce, JavaScript, and related technologies
- Create and support Salesforce custom code bases and integrations
- Maintain and support environment migrations and code deployments across full SDLC processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or another technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and work experience
- 4+ years of Salesforce Developer experience
- Experience working with source repositories
- Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
- Experience with CI/CD DevOps tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Salesforce administration, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Knowledge of SOAP/REST Web APIs, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, and Triggers
- Strong relational database skills
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Background and drug screen required upon offer of employment
- Regular and reliable attendance is essential
