Job Description

Senior Salesforce Developer designing, building, and optimizing Salesforce solutions for federal clients. Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring high-quality implementations for organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop Apex Code — Build scalable Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, schedulable, and asynchronous processes following best practices.
  • Build Lightning Components — Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components for modern, responsive UI experiences.
  • Customize Salesforce Configuration — Implement flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, and other declarative tools.
  • Integrate External Systems — Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and platform events.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders — Work with product owners, admins, and architects to refine requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Perform Code Reviews — Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards across the development team.
  • Optimize Performance — Troubleshoot performance issues, governor limit challenges, and data model inefficiencies.
  • Maintain Documentation — Create and update technical specs, solution designs, and deployment documentation.
  • Support Release Management — Assist with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment strategies.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship with ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Advanced Apex & LWC Expertise — 5+ years hands‑on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and platform events.
  • Strong Salesforce Platform Knowledge — Deep understanding of data modeling, security, sharing, and automation.
  • Integration Experience — Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and integration tools.
  • SDLC & Agile Delivery — Experience working in Agile teams with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Git.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance — Ability to write robust unit tests with >75% coverage and meaningful assertions.
  • Problem Solving & Communication — Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
