Job Description
SAP MM/WM Consultant responsible for requirements gathering and international rollout implementation. Working with global processes and local needs in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the international rollout project (blueprint, realization/configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support).
- Elicit and analyze requirements with business areas (warehousing, logistics, and materials).
- Configure and customize MM and WM modules according to the global template and local specificities.
- Map and optimize WM processes: goods receipt, put-away, picking, inventory, replenishment, cross-docking, and shipping.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training for key users.
- Work on integration with related modules (MM, SD, PP, QM) and liaise with technical teams (ABAP) and international stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Advanced English (verbal and written) — prerequisite for work on an international project
- Availability to travel to client sites
- Minimum of 6 years of experience with SAP WM
- Proven experience in WM implementations (full-cycle projects)
- Strong knowledge of WM processes: organizational structure (warehouse, storage types, storage bins), put-away and picking strategies, transfer orders/transfer requirements, physical inventory, and MM-WM integration
- Previous experience in international rollout projects
- Knowledge of EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- Experience with RF devices/handheld scanners and logistics interfaces
- SAP certification
