Job Description
Senior developer building React Native and Node.js solutions for RD Saúde’s nationwide pharmacy and healthcare ecosystem. Designing APIs, reviewing code, and improving scalable, secure applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end features involving mobile applications built with React Native and backend services built with Node.js
- Build, maintain, and enhance REST and GraphQL APIs
- Propose architectures, technical standards, and development best practices
- Conduct high-quality code reviews, ensuring coding standards and consistency
- Provide technical support to mid-level and junior developers, fostering team growth
- Contribute to the performance, scalability, security, observability, and quality of solutions
- Participate in technical discussions with a critical, collaborative, and product-oriented mindset
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or having completed a technology degree or higher education in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in software development, working on medium- or high-complexity projects
- Strong knowledge of backend and/or mobile development
- Experience building and integrating APIs
- Proficiency in software engineering best practices
- Experience with version control
- Knowledge of software testing
- Experience working with agile methodologies
- Solid experience developing mobile applications with React Native and TypeScript, including React Hooks and Context API for state management
- Experience in backend development with Node.js and/or Express
- Building and integrating APIs using GraphQL, Apollo Client, and Apollo Server
- Experience with containerization using Docker and with Redis
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD, and unit test implementation
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog
- Experience with AI tools applied to software development, such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot, is a plus
- Courses, certifications, or training in generative AI, automation, or productivity applied to software engineering are a plus
- Experience with high-scale e-commerce is a plus
- Experience with analytics, events, and tagging
- Knowledge of resolver optimization
- Log structuring and analysis
- Familiarity with generative AI
- Knowledge of LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini
