Job Description
Senior software engineer developing Inovalon’s RCMi healthcare analytics platform. Building full-stack features, data pipelines, and client-facing reports with Angular, C#, SQL, AWS, and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, testable code using a test-first approach where possible
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and API layers for the RCMi analytics platform
- Build, maintain, and optimize data-driven reports and dashboards showing healthcare claims, remits, and related data
- Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines into RCMi’s database
- Handle PHI and PII in accordance with security standards and privacy best practices
- Participate in design and code reviews, iteration demos, and team retrospectives
- Work with product management to scope, estimate, and deliver enhancements
- Participate in change management as business and technical scope evolves
- Follow confidentiality, HIPAA, regulatory, and company policies
- Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support critical issues according to SLAs
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or full-stack web development
- Advanced SQL skills, including MSSQL and Snowflake; experience with triage, performance tuning, and feature development
- Full-stack proficiency with Angular front-end, C# back-end, and REST API development
- Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, and report building and maintenance
- Solid AWS experience; familiarity with cloud-native architecture and deployment practices
- Experience working with healthcare data and healthcare organizations
- Understanding of PHI, PII, and security and privacy compliance requirements
- Ability to take ideas from stakeholder proposal through to completion
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills; comfortable operating on a small, high-ownership team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
