Job Description
Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing a browser extension for Cerby's cybersecurity platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Build scalable, high-performance software solutions that align with business goals.
- Work closely with product managers, engineering managers, UX designers, and other engineers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and continuously improve development processes.
- Champion new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that drive innovation.
- Actively contribute to a security-first approach by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust solutions.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on building and scaling SaaS applications.
- Prior experience developing and maintaining Distributed Applications
- Previous experience mentoring junior developers and conducting security-first code reviews
- Technical Expertise: Manifest V3 service-worker model
- Content scripts and injection into untrusted pages
- Proficiency in Strong React + TypeScript with utility-first CSS (e.g., TailwindCSS)
- Core frontend and browser fundamentals
- Designing, consuming, and optimizing REST APIs
- Front-end security
- Modern authentication and identity
- Testing and observability
