Job Description
Experienced Software Engineer developing scalable Java solutions for financial platforms at IntellectEU. Collaborating with a distributed team to deliver high-quality products in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Development of key components of the financial exchange platform.
- Contribute with your expertise by sharing ideas on product improvements.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Java application phases, code, and software.
- Ensure the product design is suitable to meet the security, resilience, and confidentiality needs of users.
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
- Transform requirements into stipulations and identify production and non-production application issues.
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
- Coach and mentor other members of the development team, growing the collective knowledge and expertise of the group.
Requirements:
- Must have Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (databases, concurrency, security, networking)
- Proven software engineering experience with Java or other JVM-based languages
- Demonstrated contribution to a development team that delivered a successful, large-scale product
- Experience with relational database management systems, message queues, and Public Key Infrastructure
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience deploying and operating services in containerized environments, including Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Nice to have Experience with Canton/Daml or other distributed transaction or ledger technologies.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment.
