Job Description
Senior Software Engineer building full-stack systems for Four 20 Pharma, a German medical cannabis manufacturer and wholesaler. Solving user problems with product-focused software in a DevOps culture.
Responsibilities:
- Understand users’ problems
- Write code to solve users’ problems
- Communicate with users and team members
- Review other team members’ code
- Continually improve code and understanding of code
- Work independently and collaboratively, including pairing
- Visit company sites to understand processes
- Develop the skills of junior software engineers
- Manage and develop junior and software engineers in the team
- Build a software engineering function from scratch with a strong product focus
- Work in a DevOps culture as a full-stack engineer
Requirements:
- Previous industry experience
- Ability to code in any language
- Familiarity with a version control system
- Previous experience working in industry
- Product management interest
- Good technical communication skills
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals
- DevOps experience
- Ideally, management experience
- Ideally, knowledge of the technologies in the company’s stack
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including pairing
- Ability to manage and develop junior and software engineers
