Job Description
Senior Software Engineer building RegScale’s security, risk, and compliance platform. Owning full-stack features across Angular, .NET, C#, Python, and SQL data layers from design through production.
Responsibilities:
- Own features end to end from requirements through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release stability
- Deliver across frontend experiences using Angular, backend services and APIs using .NET, C#, and Python, and data layers using PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Write clean, testable, well-structured code and participate in code reviews
- Design maintainable and reusable solutions that fit the broader system
- Identify technical risks and delivery blockers and propose solutions
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Infrastructure
- Contribute to API design, performance, and service reliability
- Mentor less experienced engineers through reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning, and own team commitments
Requirements:
- 8 or more years of professional software engineering experience
- Demonstrated full-stack delivery across frontend, backend, and data layers
- Proven ownership of features end to end with accountability for quality, stability, and outcomes
- Strong software design fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, separation of concerns, and component boundaries
- Ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements and drive work to completion without close supervision
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team culture and code quality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
