Job Description
Senior Full Stack Engineer developing web, mobile, cloud, and database systems for PlaneSense, a private aviation management company. Supporting safe, reliable flight operations through mission-critical software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET and C#
- Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Blazor
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend integrations
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures
- Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views using Microsoft SQL Server
- Build and support services utilizing Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Service Bus, and Storage Services
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment automation
- Publish and manage application releases through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical team members
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions
- Support production systems and troubleshoot issues when necessary
- Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and ongoing modernization initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong demonstrable experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs / Web Services, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience developing web applications using Blazor
- Experience developing mobile applications using .NET MAUI, Xamarin, or similar mobile frameworks
- Experience developing enterprise systems using Kafka or similar message queueing technologies
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices
- Experience with Git-based source control systems and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with AI-assisted or agentic AI software development
- Strong technical judgement, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to balance technical excellence with practical business needs
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
