Job Description
Senior Staff Software Engineer in Personal Lines IT organization leading Scrum teams to develop technology solutions. Overseeing design and development for Personal Lines' innovative systems.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on technical lead for Scrum teams
- Accountable for technical deliverables on projects through the software development life cycle
- Proactively address technical issues and risks
- Work closely with stakeholders to design and document solutions
- Mentor and train project team members
- Coordinate between multiple disciplines to develop solutions
- Perform detailed technical reviews including code reviews
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum of 10-12 years of work experience in Application development
- 7+ years of experience in driving Application designing
- Working experience with Cloud (AWS Preferred) hosted application
- Experience with DuckCreek Products Policy, Billing and Data Insights
- Experience with continuous integration and DevOps methodologies
- Experience with Agile development frameworks
- Experience in designing & developing high performing application supporting over 2000+ concurrent users
- Knowledge of P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
