Job Description
Intel supply chain lead optimizing semiconductor substrate supplier quality, yield, cost, and operations. Managing supplier selection, process validation, KPIs, and quality improvements in South Korea.
Responsibilities:
- Support management and senior leadership in incorporating process and quality improvements into Intel's supply chain and logistics strategy
- Define material inspection methodology and conduct studies related to cost control, process control and production yield
- Implement plans and programs to optimize supply chain
- Support product long-range plan development by defining next-generation methodology capabilities
- Explore and benchmark emerging industry technology
- Contribute to Intel's future technology definition and requirements
- Identify gaps between roadmap strategy, manufacturing capability and market demands and recommend solutions
- Track supply-demand trends and conduct root cause analysis for process and quality improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with supply chain leads to implement solutions
- Lead supplier selections for new business with commodity managers and technical/quality partners
- Drive product and purchase specification content to ensure commodity performance compliance
- Perform alternate sourcing risk mitigation for single-sourced commodities
- Establish control standards, determine KPIs, monitor performance against targets and drive root cause analysis for supply chain issues
- Drive supplier process-window validation activities on critical process modules through all development stages
- Drive supplier improvements in quality, reliability, yield and cost
- Maintain quality standards and systems and create specifications to minimize variability and subjectivity
- Lead quality excursion management and failure mode analysis with suppliers
Requirements:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Science or Engineering fields
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Semiconductor Fab, Substrates or Mother Boards or Assembly Test development or manufacturing environment
- In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor Fab, Substrate or Mother Boards or Assembly Test manufacturing process
- Process development and optimization
- Manufacturing operations management
- Analytical Problem Solving
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Knowledge, hands-on skills and experience in quality management, data analytics, raw materials management, cleanroom operations, foreign material control and supplier management strongly advantageous
- Fluent business-level English communication and articulation skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal and supplier management
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
